VINTAGE PELIKAN 100 GREEN MARBLED, 14 K GOLD -F- NIB, 40's
Could be expertized from new styled logo, dark amber window. Later in 1939 Pelikan switched to palladium nibs. Pelikan 14 K gold F (fine) size. Ebonite feed from 3 lamellas. Nib perform as regular flexible. Cap: Black HR cap and top, 2 cap bands and gold teardrop clip. The clip shows no signs of brassing. Minor scratches on cap side. The ink window is dark amber, transparent.
The sleeve is nice green marbled celluloid. Imprints: On cap top side imprint " Pelikan Patent " twice and 2 chicks. Styled logo on cap top. On nib: Italic fonts " Pelikan - 14- KARAT" and "F" mark. System: Classic and reliable 2'nd edition resin seal version piston filler.
(capped) 11,7 cm (4.61in). The piston-filling mechanics from hard rubber is in working order and serviced. Seal covered with special silicone grease. Piston pumps, holds ink without any problems and ready for writing (ref photo #12).
